Ece DAYIOĞLU, FCIArb, FSIArb was born in 1991, in Istanbul. She completed her primary education at Fevziye Mektepleri Foundation Private Nisantasi Isik Primary School and her high school education at Notre Dame de Sion French High School.

Having completed her LLB at Galatasaray University Faculty of Law, she graduated from Galatasaray University in 2014. She did her legal internship at DAYIOĞLU LAW FIRM & INTERNATIONAL ADR CENTER.

In the same year, Ece DAYIOĞLU, FCIArb, FSIArb studied LLM in Business Law at Istanbul Bilgi University. Meanwhile she completed her legal internship and suspended her LLM studies before completing her thesis in order to pursue her LLM studies in Paris.

In 2016, Ece DAYIOĞLU, FCIArb, FSIArb studied LLM in International Dispute Resolution and Economics Law at Queen Mary University of London during which she engaged in her dissertation on enforceability of arbitral awards in international investment arbitration involving state parties. She graduated from Queen Mary University of London in 2017.

In 2017, Ece DAYIOĞLU, FSIArb, FCIArb studied Master II in Arbitration and International Commercial Law at Sorbonne University, followed by an arbitration internship at the International Chamber of Commerce ICC International Court of Arbitration. She graduated from Sorbonne University in 2017.

During her internship at the ICC, working with the Middle East and North Africa – MENA regional case management team, Ece DAYIOĞLU, FCIArb, FSIArb undertook duties with respect to various arbitration cases and performed tasks such as appointment of arbitrators and scrutiny of the draft awards, she gained experience and developped insight on the ICC Arbitration and its practical aspects. She did a profound research on the grounds for arbitrator challenge and replacement as well as related Court decisions using the ICC database.

Ece DAYIOĞLU, FCIArb, FSIArb attended certification courses on CIArb Introduction to International Arbitration, ICC Annual Summer Course on International Commercial Arbitration and ICC Online Dispute Resolution.

Sworn translator in English and in French, Ece DAYIOĞLU, FCIArb, FSIArb carried out simultaneous interpretation during an ICC Arbitration hearing and performed witness examination.

Admitted to the Istanbul Bar under 52543 member number since December 2015, Ece DAYIOĞLU, FCIArb, FSIArb got sworn in to the Paris Bar in November 2017, since then she provides legal consulting and legal representation services in Turkey and in France.

She practices law at DAYIOĞLU LAW FIRM & INTERNATIONAL ADR CENTER since 2018.

Ece DAYIOĞLU, FCIArb, FSIArb completed her suspended LLM at Istanbul Bilgi University in 2022.

Ece DAYIOĞLU, FCIArb, FSIArb is arbitrator accredited by Chartered Insititute of Arbitrators – CIArb and Singapore Institute of Arbitrators – SIArb at Fellow level. Among other arbitral institutions, she is empaneled with the SHAC (China), the RAC (Russia), the ISTA (Türkiye) and the BIAMC (Indonesia).

Ece DAYIOĞLU, FCIArb, FSIArb is also listed mediator at the IMI (Netherlands), the SIMI (Singapore), the BIAMC (Indonesia) and Ministry of Justice (Türkiye).

Ece DAYIOĞLU, FCIArb, FSIArb has also taken up the position of EDAC Vice Secretary General. Energy Disputes Arbitration Center – EDAC, being the based in Turkey, is the first and only arbitral insititution which is sectoral-based in energy disputes with its own rules.

Since 2016, Ece DAYIOĞLU, FCIArb, FSIArb is the Advisor of the Board of Trustees of the Gulten Dayıoğlu Child and Adolescent Literature Foundation. Since 2021, she takes part in elected management of Galatasaray University Alumni Association as well as in Queen Mary University of London CCLS Turkey Chapter Committee.
